Dubai Pearl Exchange
The Dubai Pearl Exchange is an exclusive trading platform for the pearls industry created by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), a Dubai Government initiative. The Exchange will facilitate the pearl trade through a “one-stop shop” structured, service-oriented platform for members only. Membership will foster lasting professional business relationships with international and regional players in the pearl industry through regular networking opportunities.
Located in the heart of Arabia and at the cross roads of a burgeoning market, the Exchange enables members entry to the Middle East market alongside facilitating international trade for businesses through Dubai’s advantageous geographical location providing easy accessibility.
The Dubai Pearl Exchange (DPE) is currently located in the Convention Centre, 7th Floor, Office 702 and is operating from these premises temporarily until relocation to DMCC’s landmark Almas Tower early 2008. The exchange’s prestigious facilities will offer additional business services to members with easy connectivity to partners/members based in the free zone.
The establishment of the Dubai Pearl Exchange comes as part of DMCC’s large scale projects designed to revive the UAE’s historical status as a leading destination for pearl diving and trading, namely the ‘Pearls of Dubai’.
Dubai Pearl Exchange is a division of Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, a free zone centre established by Dubai Law No. 4 of 2001 and regulated by Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Authority.
